Basingstoke Community Transport (BCT)

Is a Independent Provident Society with Charitable Status regulated under the FSA, a  not for profit organisation.

Setup in 1984, BCT was set up for the community to bring people together and cater for their welfare, collecting prescriptions or doing a little bit of shopping for them or taking them to appointments or shopping themselves with a single transit minibus.

We have grown a bit since then and currently have 14 wheelchair accessible minibuse4 of various sizes and three cars and have transported more than 1.75 million passengers and still carry out all the little tasks for our affiliated members and our main role is still the well-being of the Community

We are situated in Church Street, Basingstoke making it easy for us to reach all areas of Basingstoke and Deane and work along side organisation like Shop Mobility, Age UK, Community Services & Adult Services Basingstoke and St Michael's Home Care when needed and all providing an invaluable service to Basingstoke

We also work along side of Basingstoke & Deane Borough Council providing a Community Bus Service in Whitchurch and Old Basing; and provide home to school transport for Hampshire County Council
